Efficiency data Canada gov. website. Tesla has the best efficiency and smallest difference between city and highway. Is it because of the their larger 211kW motor vs 150W? Though the Mach-E shows way worst numbers compared to Model Y

  1. anecdotal: but my i3 was garbage on the freeway but my model 3 didn’t take much of an impact 70mph and under.

  2. Very much doubt these figures. You can drive the Niro at 12 kWh/100km in the city

  3. For tesla it’s highway numbers are mostly down to aero and power train efficiency

  4. Ford is an ICE company who is dabbling in EV. Tesla is an EV company who will only make EVs. There is a different philosophy between the two companies. By 2025 Tesla and VW will be well positioned with American EV buyers. By 2023/2024 GM and Ford will be facing a Chinese EV invasion with the same consequences of the Japanese car invasion of the 1970s. IMO, neither one survives as a major player in the auto/truck market.
