The on-track rivalry between Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg will be renewed this weekend. Well, not so much on track as in the desert, as they launch their own teams taking part in the new Extreme E series.

The all-electric SUV series has been designed to highlight environmental damage while, organisers hope, providing some interesting racing.

The series was launched at the start of 2019 by Alejandro Agag, the founder of Formula E, the electric version of Formula One.
