  1. Dammit! Bring in some of your commuter stuff to NA! Even gas powered, I’d kill for a CG125 as a commuter bike. The damn thing will run forever on a dribble of gas, and a sniff of lubricating oil. I hammered a fully loaded CB250RS for a couple of years, including a North/South trip across France, fully loaded, at about 75-85 mph, including running it *completely* out of oil once. (I mean completely, the dipstick was dry when I took it out, and there was smoke coming out!)

  2. In Japan, Honda electric bikes are used by mail and newspaper delivery companies. I’ve never seen any individual riding one because they are lease-only vehicles for corporations.
Yamaha electric scooters are sold to the general public.
There is a TV show where a comedian travels around Japan on a Yamaha electric scooter.
The standard story is that the scooter runs out of charge and can no longer run, so the comedian asks the owner of the house or store to let him recharge the battery.
