  1. Il le very curious to see if this means more cars shipped to Canada. Our rebates are the same as always.

    But maybe the demand in the US is so large people will pay the difference?

  2. Ioniq 5 was top of my list for next vehicle. IRA really put that idea to bed.

    I would be much more inclined to wait a couple years if a North America factory is being built.

  3. Joe Manchin / Biden deal buried OEM outside of USA. Big FU to anyone shipping cars into USA. Kia and Hyundai just lost $7500 or at least $3750 competitive advantage without ever getting to 200,000 units… the goal posts were moved.

  4. It’s only a tax credit anyways. Unless they are able to get the instant rebates thing to work. I’m still looking at the 2024 Mini Cooper SE even though it won’t qualify for the tax rebate. I wouldn’t get the tax credit regardless as I don’t make enough to owe money on my taxes.
