  1. Our little town had 4 free L2 chargers and 1 free DC fast charger. People would come from all over to charge and spend $$ while charging. Since the city decided to change them from free to $0.24kwh no one uses them. They all go 1 town over and use their free chargers instead.

  2. It’s fine if one is going to do shopping for several hours, but level 2 just doesn’t get a lot of charging done in a short period of time. I have one of those Clipper Creeks in my garage and it’s GREAT for overnight or late afternoon charges to get things charged back up. But it is in my opinion not a great alternative for a quick charge. After all we’re talking maybe 20-30 miles in a short visit, which for most isn’t going to do much.

  3. In order to get a lot of federal dollars, municipalities are required to install a certain number of EV chargers. Our bigger city had a truly abysmal amount of chargers available, and it’s quickly increasing. I’m into it.
