  1. As someone who loves the Smythe Ute kits, these are super cool.

    A bit pricey for a half-used car though. You’d want to be damn sure the frame and body was solid on the donor car.

    The other issue is the donor car (corolla) is known for its reliability and is already pretty economical. They should have an option to do the conversions and maintain the original gas power plant. Fleets could still save fuel vs other oversized alternatives, but the price would be much reduced vs pure electric.
